Getting back into the 7 steps

Hello everyone my name is Thomas. I used to be on the 7 steps but I got off track. I struggle with eating too much sugar and carbs. I really want to lose about 60 pounds and I often do crash diets to lose as much weight as I can but it always comes back and I get really weak and tired when I do low carb diets. I want to lose weight and also do the 7 steps what should I do in terms of my carb intake?
