Getting weak and tired on low carbs is a pretty normal response, but the pushers of this type of diet don't tell you that. Throw away your carb counters and think slow carb, not no carb.
An interesting thing I have observed with myself is how carbs affect my hunger signals. When I tried no carb meals in the past, I could eat and eat but never feel full until I had some carbohydrate. I also noticed that the protein shake wasn't keeping me full until lunch time, even though protein count was right. I increased the amount of oats I added, and that did the trick! Slow carbs are your ally in keeping you steady.
