Re: Perfectionism

: oh I do like those Nancy and Pam M

: Great for pondering on.

: my perfectionism I think tends
: towards the All or Nothing thing,
: so I try to steer a middle course
: really

: so my mantra has become "Good
: enough is good enough " and I
: use that one to pat myself on the
: back with when I am travelling or
: out and about, and Im more relaxed

: as for the food as a treat - Ive
: never really got over that to be
: honest. Im a bit of a foodie and
: bless my amazing tastebuds all the
: time - I am convinced I enjoy my
: food more than other people do, so
: why not celebrate that :h11) So
: every single meal is a treat. I
: simply eat favourite foods all the
: time and Never eat things I don't
: like. After a lifetime of trying
: to eat foods I don't like for this
: or that diet, this is a true
: liberation and I celebrate that
: all the time :h6) :h4)

I love this post, Mosaic. I am also a foodie, and I connected with your insight about only eating foods you love. Life is too precious to do anything (including eating) that you don't enjoy. Good reminder to me at this stage of my recovery : ) Thank you.
