We went to the zoo a day later than we had originally planned. We ate lunch first. It was a sunny, reasonably pleasant day out and we enjoyed it. Then yesterday it started getting colder and windy. We went to a wildlife refuge to see the Sandhill Cranes, did some errands, and went to see Bohemian Rhapsody. Wonderful film, made me laugh and cry and I totally got into the music.

This morning it snowed, and there was a lot of bird activity in our yard.

It's been a lovely, relaxing 4 days off. I've been sleeping a little later than usual, but having breakfast immediately. We are carrying snacks with us on our excursions.

Tomorrow it's back to work and routine.
