*Pilates lesson this morning
*Leaving tomorrow to go to Chicago to visit a son and his family for Thanksgiving
*Finished a good book
It's been a cliffhanger, but my husband decided his back was well enough to travel. He's been following doctor's orders to use CBD and increase the dosage very slowly. Yesterday he finally seems to have reached the dose that's effective for him right now - in the nick of time from my point of view.
Now I'm planning for getting breakfasts on time while in a hotel (pre-measured Restore in little baggies and gluten-free crackers to provide about half a breakfast until we get down to the hotel restaurant). And nuts and crackers to fill in if lunch will be delayed due to the flight times. I'm pretty sure my son and his wife will have some appropriate foods available for Thanksgiving dinner (and left-overs), and we'll probably go out to eat for a couple meals.
I'm looking forward to this trip. The only thing that kind of scares me is that I'll be driving at night in an unfamiliar area to get from my son's home to the hotel.
