I've been on vacation since last Tuesday. We didn't go away. We've just been relaxing and doing things locally and doing some Christmas shopping (but we avoided the Black Friday frenzy and went to small local shops). I have also been knitting scarves as gifts.

Food has been good, but of course we've been sleeping a bit later than usual so meal times have not necessarily been at my normal times, although the meal intervals have been good . I'm not that eager to go back to work tomorrow, but it will be good to get back to routine.

We made broth with our turkey bones from Thanksgiving, so today we will make turkey chile stew so we have some good lunch food for this week.
