Pam, reading your post did make me thoughtful following on from celebrating Fiona's achievements

About how wonderful it is to feel proud, that feeling of success, or something done well

I don't think we celebrate it nearly enough. So I started making a list of things to be proud of

I am magnificently organised in the kitchen
I am quite good at crafts ( see? I am far too British. We are not that good at blowing our own trumpets. I felt compelled to put that " quite" in.... So.…)

I am good at crafts :h6)
I have done so well speaking up tactfully and getting my family trained. Only last night SIL phoned to check her menu with me ( they are so good!)

I don't notice any more every time I go to Costa and just don't see the unsuitable stuff, or maybe just enjoy the artistry of it or in the supermarket I don't notice it either...……… I expect some of it is practice and most of it is attentive to my food being right so I ought to give myself some credit,. This is a fun game. I shall play it today...………. just noticing, just attentive.

thank you

it might be for someone getting just that one bit of breakfast right. Noticing whichever step you are on and just doing that one. Or shopping ahead and making sure you have the right stuff in. Or getting the right protein grams. Finding a brown in a challenging place, trying a new dish, planning to do something nice like bubblebath, or sitting quiet with a meditation candle. Time to celebrate achievements :h7)
