Hi Pam,
I totally second your idea that one of Mosaic's accomplishments should be how wonderful and helpful and kind she is to everyone on the forum. I love reading every one of her posts, even when I don't always understand all the Brit terminology at first! What a treasure she is!
And I'm proud of you for keeping up and working on breakfast. I guarantee you that that vicious inner critic will lessen as you go through the steps, particularly when you get to step 7. I was amazed to find out that that mean voice in my head is/was biochemical. I've heard other people mention that too. It's one of the many rewards of this program.

: Thank you, Mosaic -- yes, one of the
: great things about this program
: for me has been giving me things
: to feel good about accomplishing
: rather than the constant litany of
: failure. It starts with those
: first food achievements, and
: spreads outwards to life stuff --
: like not berating myself for
: *days* about getting a spoon
: caught in the blender , or
: not running errands in the most
: perfect, most optimally efficient
: order on a Saturday. My inner
: critic can be vicious and reduce
: me to tears.
: But breakfast helps with ALL of that;
: it continues to amaze me. (And the
: thing that amazes me the most
: right now is how important timing
: is to the breakfast effect --
: every time I find myself thinking,
: "This breakfast thing doesn't
: work any more, it's broke," I
: find that timing has slipped by a
: few minutes; and when I pay more
: attention to that and put it back
: in place, voila, breakfast starts
: working again!)
: (I think you should add being
: wonderfully kind and supportive
: and funny on this forum to your
: list of accomplishments! It sure
: has made and continues to make a
: difference to me. )
