Re: my restaurant research task
In Response To: my restaurant research task ()

: something happened over New Year that
: shook me up a bit :h6)

: my favourite indian restaurant has
: closed down ! :s2(

: I am a little bit in mourning because
: we have been doing their
: take-aways, and some birthdays,
: since about 1986 :s6( it was part
: of our traditions and so reliable
: food wise for me. it is surprising
: what a big deal this is !

: Most discombobulated, we got a last
: minute takeaway from the next
: nearest local over New years...…..
: their chutneys were so sweet :s8(
: and I think the tikka masala had a
: tinned tomato soup base :s7(

: the trouble is, peoples
: recommendations are not based on
: sugar and gluten free :h6)
: generally speaking. So it is a
: case of personal research..... a
: tough job...…...: h6) but I will
: step up to the challenge :h6) it
: is really important !

: on the bright side, I saw a Jamie
: Oliver chutney recipe that was
: really easy, ( one can not have
: poppadums without chutneys!) I
: shall do that and freeze some for
: takeaway day..... my real
: favourite restaurant is only a
: train ride away so that'll be nice
: for eat-in celebrations. I shall
: collect all the local menus for a
: browse and try a few more out

: we only do the takeaway
: high-days-and-holidays so not that
: often. But the quest is on

I totally understand and genuinely sympathize!
I think we might need that Jamie Oliver Chutney recipe :h5)
