the idea of 5-10 minute exercising (which mosaic posted about) vs. longer periods works so much better for me because I've yet to find an exercise I really love. I feel like even on a bad day, I can handle 5 minutes!
however, I do really like the chair yoga at the gym, otherwise known as old lady yoga, since they have a chair you can use for balance, and some of the stretches are done sitting on the chair. :-) I do arm and leg stretches at home, during netflix binge-watching especially. i don't want my bum getting soldered to the chair!
: JoEllen, Sherri, I nicked it
: I found I resonated really
: well with exercise snack as a
: phrase. It sounded so achievable
: and friendly. And I do well on
: committing myself to 5 minutes
: exercise snack rather than a 40
: minute dvd for instance
: it was a phrase used on a documentary
: where they were aiming to prove
: that , say, five exercise snacks
: through the day had just as much
: benefit as one longer
: 'workout'...…… now, workout sounds
: like so much effort, so this
: fits me better.
