Re: Baking with kids

oh Fiona you did make me laugh. he didn't eat any. Ive eaten it.
How "Me" that is :h6) My family are not a bit interested in cake, but I used to bake loads with them. I used to be wearing myself out willpowering to not eat it and mad with them because they didn't, such a waste

I'm not to be trusted around anything of a cake texture even if sugar free, so I don't do so much of a taste, not tempted as long as food is good. though I do bake for others still . Pretty sure there are likely items in Recipes

I did do what my mum and grandma did with me too though, and that might work for you? Soup ! I used to think as a kid it was the most tremendous treat to be allowed to make soup. As for knife skills, I learned really early :h6) …. and so, so did my kids

the other thing I used to do was wholewheat bread, because then you can make bread dinosaurs. Or anything, its kind of a combination of baking and modelling. You can be really proud of little cottage loaves or plaits

its a bit of a faff waiting for bread to rise and stuff, I wonder if soda bread would be the same satisfying result? but even soda bread cobs would be good fun
