Hello again

Hello folks,

Just wanted to say hey, how are you? & start connecting again. Just trying to refocus back on Steps one & two -I’ve never really got the timings thing down & I’m bigger now so need more protein for breakfast than I thought. I’ve enjoyed my meals this week & been more steady. My PMS wasn’t nearly as bad as last month. I’m quite happy & glad to be here & for this community. I think I wasn’t ready to fully commit before even though I was half heartedly doing the steps for last few years...I wasn’t willing to give up sugar. Even though that’s not till step 6. My mind loves to ‘jump ahead’ lol & knows what’s coming. I wasn’t ready. Or didn’t believe the changes things like adding the potato in will make (I’ve never made it to that step) so I haven’t gone through the biochemical changes. I thought I had to be willing to give it up now. Now I think I just have to be willing to be willing...if that makes sense. I had a slip up with breakfast protein not being on time after volunteering this week at a shelter. It was a great experience but I ate my shredded wheat & forgot my protein shake -had it later mid-morning but all my other breakfasts have been on time & lovely. I have a weekend away in 2 days. I know I have to prepare my shaker etc. & take oatcakes with me. It will be a fun time. Take care Vicky
