Yes, I agree there is something about that combination of fats and salt that is addictive.
I am not attracted to salty foods and don't put a salt shaker on the table.Yet when I eat just a few Fritos they trigger the urge for more.
.The crispiness, crunchiness is also a factor.Were they baked at a very high temperature?I admit that I like the way they look and wonder if some subliminal advertising draws me to them.
I now eat unsalted, a bit boring blue corn chips as my brown and can stop eating them easily, yet still find them tasty.
