The rainbow sounds amazing!
I walked this afternoon around a local pond, and I couldn't believe all the birds I saw -- red-winged blackbirds, blue jays, a cardinal, robins, geese and baby geese (cute!), a hawk, and even a white bird that looked like something you'd see in Florida (egret or heron of some sort). All within a half-hour's time! And a train went by on the nearby tracks, which I always enjoy. Joy dots all over the place!

I was going to go for a walk after
: work, but it was pouring so I
: didn't take my sneakers and
: exercise pants home. (I had been
: leaving my gym bag at work until I
: use the clothes in it so I won't
: have to lug it around.) On the way
: home, where I pulled off the
: freeway, I have a panoramic view
: of two mountain ranges, and there
: was a big, wide rainbow in front
: of one of them. I probably could
: have walked - it was cloudy at
: home but not windy and raining the
: way it was when I left work.
: That's ok - I relaxed until my
: husband came home.
