Sounds yummy. Did the neighbors grow the greens? If so how lovely they shared.

: Today when I got home from work, I
: found a bag of fresh salad greens
: from our neighbor's garden hanging
: on our gate. We are leaving on a
: trip tomorrow, so I wanted to make
: sure that we used as many of the
: greens as possible. I decided to
: make a salad for dinner.

: I cut up some little potatoes,
: steamed them, and then tossed with
: oil and a mixture of Penzey's
: adobo and chili 3000 and roasted
: them in the oven. I cut up green
: beans and steamed them. I
: defrosted frozen boneless chicken
: thighs and cut them into bite
: sized pieces and sprinkled with
: garlic powder, then sautéed the
: pieces. I also cooked up a few
: slices of bacon. We each assembled
: our own salad. I added some
: avocado to mine. It was really
: yummy. There are leftovers so I
: can make a salad tomorrow for
: lunch, although I will have to
: prepare some additional protein.
: Maybe I will cook up some shrimp
: to mix with the leftover chicken.
