We were on a birding vacation in Arizona and spent Easter outdoors looking at colorful birds. There was an Easter egg hunt at our hotel and we were joking that my husband would participate and push all the little children out of the way but he managed to restrain himself, LOL.

: Easter eggs and the like have never
: been on my radar ( I have a
: savoury tooth instead) but I know
: they may be a bit of a challenge
: for some, and not to mention the
: challenge of family
: food-gatherings at this time of
: year so I will pass on what I
: learned from others, no big deal,
: its ok, think of your step instead
: and put that energy there

: My Easter treat will be a complete
: wallow in the Sunday papers. And I
: shall dust off the patio chairs
: and take my book outside in the
: garden this afternoon. I have
: chosen roast beef sunday dinner
: and red cabbage coleslaw and
: parmesan afters for treats.

: I am always a bit thoughtful because
: easter is a floating anniversary
: of remembrance for me so I shall
: honour that with some daffodils,
: they are such flowers of optimism
: and brightness aren't they?
