: Hi Annie,
: It is nice to have you back.
: This is really not about *control *:
: h11) or about restriction or
: abstinence.
: We are offering you healing. The way
: to stop is to stop thinking about
: what
: you have to give up and to start
: thinking about what you can add in
: to help your
: body heal. It really is sort of the
: opposite of what you have been
: doing.
: Rather than trying to figure it all
: out, how about just working on
: breakfast.
: Can you start with that? Do you know
: the 4 parts? What are you having
: now?
: Can you talk about breakfast?

Hi Kathleen: Thank you so much for responding!! I had a serving of grape-nuts for breakfast, and 1 cup of 1% cow's milk, and 1 scoop of protein powder, some OJ, some coffee, and 2 packets of stevia for my cereal with PP and milk. According to your book, I need 27 grams of protein per meal. I know I'm only doing breakfast at this point; but, I also don't want to knowingly eat something that isn't good for me if I can help it. So, I have been looking at how much protein I have per meal; but, I'm not jumping ahead or trying to have everything all at once. I don't think!! I, too, had an alcoholic father and we have, each one of us children, have vices to recover from. I have a bi-polar mind and an addiction to foods. I'm really full of hope that your program will solve more than one of these maladies. Although, I've been taught that just one bite of sugar or flour can send me over the edge again. What does your program have to say about that, I wonder? And as for the bi-polar, I'll be taking those meds forever, but perhaps I can be a better person all around by doing this program. Can you tell, I've been reading your book? My only prayer, at this point, is to stick to it. I have a habit of jumping around to first one thing and then another, and then something else. I would really like to find my "home" for my eating habits and routines. Thanks again!!!
Annie
