It's great that you are settling in on step one. You can just stay there as long as you want. Sometimes people decide they are just going to get to a particular step and stop there, usually step 3. Then eventually, they decide they want more healing. Even if you decided you never wanted to do more than step one, it would make a positive difference in your life, but I would bet you will decide you want to move forward at some point. For now, though, you can just settle into breakfast and try different ones to see what works best for you.
