Thank you for all your joys!

Healing is grand
: *so many hummingbirds
: *two Swainson's hawks perched
: together on the power poles
: *seeing our neighborhood llama
: Since we started talking about joy
: dots here, I've found that I make
: a point of looking out for the
: things that always give me joy.
: For instance, on my drive to and
: from work, when I cross the river,
: I always look to see if there are
: herons or cranes or eagles. I look
: for hawks on the power poles. I
: look for cattle egrets in the
: fields. There's a llama. She
: always used to be in a field, but
: she's gotten old and now a lot of
: the time she's in a pen next to
: her field behind a house. I call
: her Rama, and I always look for
: her when I drive by. Then there
: are a few prairie dog burrows at
: the top of my street so I always
: look at the prairie dogs. And then
: seeing the neighborhood horses is
: always a joy dot. And then
: whatever birds are around in our
: yard.
: I've been really busy at work and
: haven't been getting as much
: exercise as I should, but when it
: cools down a little, I will make a
: point of going for a walk by the
: river on my lunch break.
