I remember thinking the same thing If I have some I will never stop.
But as I got up everyday and worked on my 3 meals and when I wanted something sweet I would gently remind myself you can have it with your next meal.
Then I let myself have it. I ate less and less sweet stuff and
less often. I keep concentrating on the meal, timing,the protein amount adding veggies in and figuring best brown.
I started to heal. Didn’t want or need the sweet.

It really does happen. Healing takes place. But until then I allowed myself to have the sweet.
