Hi Annie,
I applaud Chloe's husband's willingness to try some *program food* and even adopt some of it.
My husband will have none of it.
And it's totally OK, no problem at all.
He eats what he eats, I eat what I eat.
Some of it overlaps (proteins - meat, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese)
and some of it doesn't - I eat complex carbs [*browns*], and he prefers *whites*.
He also has snacks that I don't eat, and that's perfectly all right.
I have my own snacks which are great for me.
Timing is also out of synch for us. We rarely have a meal together.
I need my meals when I need them, and my husband operates by a different clock.
It's not a big deal.
Sometimes I sit with him when he eats, just for the company and a good chat.
He knows why I eat the way I eat. He knows I feel so much better when I eat this way.
He respects it, and I respect his choices.
It's a live and let live kind of thing.
I'd say it has even brought us closer than before

: Hi Chloe: And your answer brings me

: can answer. What do I do if I live
: with someone who is not on the
: program? It seems impossible from

: asking the question hoping there
: is a solution after all.
