Re: Tenacious

Hi SKL: Thank you for your message. I appreciate the different approaches. I'm looking forward to what will come for me and hubby. My husband's eating habits are all linked to my eating habits as I am the one who provides the gathering together of foods and desserts. So, he's conditioned now to have desserts, for one thing, because I have needed to have them. So, I feel that I have created at least most of the problem I have with our food habits. On the other hand; he may also benefit from my dietary changes as well; since he'll still be eating what I put together. So, it's probably all going to be fine. I tend to worry a lot, but I don't have to, that's for sure. Thank you for your input; I appreciate it.

Hi Annie,
: I applaud Chloe's husband's
: willingness to try some *program
: food* and even adopt some of it.

: My husband will have none of it.
: And it's totally OK, no problem at
: all.
: He eats what he eats, I eat what I
: eat.
: Some of it overlaps (proteins - meat,
: chicken, fish, eggs, cheese)
: and some of it doesn't - I eat
: complex carbs [*browns*], and he
: prefers *whites*.

: He also has snacks that I don't eat,
: and that's perfectly all right.
: I have my own snacks which are great
: for me.

: Timing is also out of synch for us.
: We rarely have a meal together.
: I need my meals when I need them, and
: my husband operates by a different
: clock.
: It's not a big deal.
: Sometimes I sit with him when he
: eats, just for the company and a
: good chat.

: He knows why I eat the way I eat. He
: knows I feel so much better when I
: eat this way.
: He respects it, and I respect his
: choices.
: It's a live and let live kind of
: thing.
: I'd say it has even brought us closer
: than before :h5) :h12)
