We vacuumed, washed the floors and decluttered the living room yesterday and put our tree up. It's a real tree. We have a new dog and we weren't sure what she'd do with a tree, so I only put unbreakable ornaments on the tree, not the glass owls etc. It was fun because I ended up using ornaments that don't always make it onto the tree. So far, Shana hasn't pulled anything off or chewed on it. She is an obsessive Border Collie but although she is curious about the tree, she doesn't seem to be fixated on it. We will see.
