Re: Anxiety and heartburn?

Kari,

How powerful that you were able to notice the chocolate-heartburn-cough connection and then heal with problem without drugs. :h15)

Really gives me hope for continued health and healing.

Best wishes,

Nancy

: Regina, Welcome

: I know for me most of my anxiety is
: not from the heartburn but foods I
: eat. I have seen the anxiety
: almost melt away over the years
: (been on the program for about 3
: years). But there is at times such
: a low level anxiety that is right
: under the surface. A different
: type and level than I am used to.
: That is what I feel when I have
: heartburn at times. I am the type
: that will panic if I have a
: headache thinking it is a tumor.
: So I am always afraid of something
: being wrong. So maybe even though
: I don't realize that I am having
: heartburn, my body and brain knows
: and maybe in a way they are in
: slight panic that something is
: going on and that something might
: be wrong. Who knows.

: I know for me when I had the really
: bad case of acid reflux that
: caused the chronic cough it was
: due to sugar. I had added it back
: into my life in a pretty bad way
: (chocolate - strange because I
: don't normally like it at all).
: They say that chocolate is a huge
: trigger for heartburn. Stopped the
: chocolate and my cough went away.
: I did not have to take any
: medication just stopped the
: chocolate.

: Again welcome

: Kari
