I'm trying to find out how to hide my email address on my posts. I notice other people's email addresses are only partially visible. Maybe the reason I can view mine completely is just because I'm logged in, but I'm not sure.

I did notice in the edit profile section it is possible to create an
alias. I presume the purpose of this is so that rather than ditching
our account if we want a different id, we can choose to use something
else. For me when I first joined yahoo I used my name and age at the
time. I do get a bit tired of seeing my name and 25 after it. I would
like the option to use something a little less personal. I was able to create the alias in my account settings but I don't know how to use it when I'm posting.

I'd be grateful for some guidance.
