Gilbert's Syndrome anyone?

Hi All. I've just been diagnosed with Gilbert's Syndrome - a defective gene that means I don't get rid of old red blood cells as efficiently as normal people. Looking through online sources, it turns out the main things that help are keeping blood sugar levels steady, eating regularly, not fasting, low GI carbs, avoiding sugar & alcohol, avoiding stress, sunlight. So no wonder I've felt so much better over the last 12 years since I started on Step 6!

I read that 1 in 20 of the population may have Gilbert's [pronounced the French way!] Syndrome so anyone here have the same diagnosis?
