This was me: facing the dreaded computer

Hi Everyone,
To continue my story of what it was like for me in the early days of doing the program...I read The Sugar Addicts Total Recovery Program and had been having a little protein when I ate breakfast for about a year.

Then in February 2002 we got *cable internet*. At the time I was a total tech-phobe. I hated the sound the dial up made :s4( and the computer just scared me and especially going on-line. It all seemed way too complicated.

But! I knew there was a website for Radiant Recovery and I wanted to go there badly enough that with the new computer set up I tried it (with the help of one of my kids of course lol) radiantrecovery.com was the first (and for a long time only) place I went.

I read this Community Forum every day. Every post. I got to know the regulars. I always paid attention to what Allison posted because her story resonated. I learned how to do breakfast correctly, with enough protein, a carb and within the hour.

What a difference that made in feeling the glimmerings of steady. But I never posted. I just listened and the real value of this community is in interacting and letting oneself be known.

So if you're listening...click that [Post New] link up top and say Hello :h5)
