Stevia

I am just coming back to the online community and getting back to basics with my program. I am tightening up the steps that I have been a bit sloppy with. I am focusing on breakfast, making sure I am getting enough protein, back to journaling, and eating a pm potato. However, while away I started using some raw stevia. It does not make me want other sugars. It has been years since I have eaten other sugars. Does anyone know what the concern about stevia is?
