Re: Racing heart/Anxiety

Hi SV,

My anxiety certainly has decreased by doing this program.

It sounds like you have tried to cut out your sugar. Have you done any *adding in*?

Starting out with step 1 and going through the program can help to steady you, even if you aren't eating sugar. If sugar craving has been a problem for you, the program sure can help!

Go to the website, and click on the link up at the top...7 Steps...then click on the Eat Breakfast with Protein link...and read all about breakfast.

Let us know how you are doing with breakfast!

: Hi,

: I have been a big sugar junkie since
: childhood till upto two years ago.
: I started having panic attacks and
: anxiety and attributed it to sugar
: and caffeine. I went on
: antidepressants and I still ate
: sugar as my serotonin levels went
: back to normal. After coming off
: antidepressants, I again became
: super sensitive to refined sugar.
: Basically, whenever I eat even a
: small amount of sugary stuff, my
: heart starts racing and I feel
: more anxious and hyper stimulated.
: I have since eliminated refined
: sugar from my diet wherever
: possible for the past year or so.

: Is this normal? What can I do to help
: myself feel better?

: Thanks.
