: Hi everyone. I first read Potatoes

: But then something brings me to
: the realization that I need to try
: again. Honestly it is so hard. 1)
: We always go shopping at the start

: stamps. I start running out of
: protein toward the end of the
: month. I pull together as much as
: I can but somewhere around the
: 20th-25th I just don't have
: anything else to eat. 2) The rest
: of my family isn't on RR and they
: don't really understand it, so I
: don't get much support at home. 3)
: The journaling always kills
: me...staying consistent with it is
: so hard for me. 4) At one point I

: I don't want to spend the next few

: are a roller coaster. I don't know
: how to overcome my RR challenges,

Hi Tiffany :h24)

I'm glad you posted. Yeah for you for coming back to the RR community. :h2) It is hard to be low on funds as the cheapest food is always carbs. :s7( There are some combos that can make for excellent protein choices like red beans and brown rice or black beans if you will, chili (with hamburger in it and red beans :h10) As someone else said cottage cheese is a wonderful way to get protein. I personally like it a lot. :h4) You can get 100% whole wheat buns and have sloppy joes made with hamburger. Chicken pieces bought in bulk can be thrifty. Oatmeal bought in bulk can be cheap. Is there a local food bank where you can get some more food to get by with? :h12)

Also, there is a wonderful online group called: "Doing the Program on Less" :h5) You might want to look into this group. Look for it under connections and then under online groups.

Shall we start with breakfast? :h6) What is available for you and that you like to eat for breakfast?
