Re: A Promise to Myself
In Response To: Re: A Promise to Myself ()

Hi SJD!

Thank you for welcoming me back! I made a promise to myself to post everyday but as all things are not in our control, it has taken me days to get back to posting on RR. Life does get in the way of the things we want to do, doesn't it!

I LOVE BREAKFAST. Even more so now that I give it the RR respect it deserves. Or maybe it is me giving ME the respect I deserve!

My go to breakfast always starts with Eziekiel bread, toasted to a crisp. That is my good brown that also has protein. I have it with eggs, cottages cheese (chive or garden veggie), cheese, peanut butter, bacon, or a combination of these ingredients. I find I do not get bored but I need to make sure I have everything in stock in my kitchen. Then it is a no brainer. When the bread is toasting, I have my pick of what I want and how I feel that day. I just need to get a better grasp of the grams of protein to make sure I am not "shorting" myself.

I used to each oatmeal with protein powder or have a protein shake but for some reason I am just not ready to dive back into these right now. Maybe if I really get sick of Eziekiel Bread (said no one, ever!)

Thanks for listening to my rambings!

Katie
