*Before I might have tried to do all the improvements at once and then get overwhelmed and not be able to keep any of them up.  :)  So your “just do stuff without making it a major deal” comment really hits home with me.*

Tonight, let’s talk about the weight loss pieces and how to create nanos with them.

This is a perfect introduction to using THE METHOD!

Last week we talked about the parts of a weight loss plan. This week we will be looking at how you decide what and when :)

How it works

Weight loss in Radiant Recovery stands as a significant alternative to the usual weight loss diets you all know. In most programs, you are asked to define your goal weight, or to seek “abstinence”. You sign up and are given a “plan.” Your progress is measured but he number of pounds you lose, or by how many days’ abstinence you maintain.

I am sure that many of you have had lots of practice and probably lots of success at dieting. But generally speaking, diets don’t last. You may lose, but often it does not stick and you gain back what you lost and more.

Diets do not go to the root of the problem – why you are fat and why you have such a hard time with it. Radiant Recovery targets the why. It creates a profound change in your body and your emotions. We guide you in transforming the feelings of rage, disgust and hopelessness into clear, focused, mobilization.

There are several phases to the program:

PHASE ONE: Balancing your Body and Healing Your Addiction

Phase one turns a frantic, desperate person into a relaxed and mobilized person with hope and a great skill set. You may lose weight in phase one, but the emphasis is on healing not weight.

PHASE TWO: Refining Your Skill and Introducing Movement into Your Program

The phase is about practice with your core program. You learn to “do the food” skillfully, so when you move to weight loss specific refinements, your core program is rock solid and you can concentrate on losing weight.

PHASE THREE: Defining Your Weight Loss Plans in a New Way

This phase helps you to define your weight loss needs to include far more than how many pounds to lose. It teaches you to know your body, know your style, know the factors that contribute to success and how to put these together.

PHASE FOUR: Supporting You in Long Term Results

Create the body you want and keep it with you.

A crucial part of moving through weight loss successfully is having ongoing guidance suited to where you are in the process and having regular and consistent encouragement from people who care. You need information and connection.

If you look at the list of classes on the right side of the portal, you will see all the material that can complement what we are doing on the list and in chat.

It will be fun to talk about it. I have heard many people say they are printing the chats and putting them in a binder for reference. See what you think.

CONNECTING WITH SOMETHING DEEPER

Ok, so now we are to the heart of this process. I want to help you
connect to some ideas that can be profoundly transformational.

As you know, our work here is about something different. First we heal the
addiction. This is what allows you to do the *underneath* work. When
you are in an addictive state, you cannot even get close to it.

Then we will come over to diethead and kiss it on its little black
nose. We will love you into wellness. and Diet head will say awww, ok.

Diet head has a lot of skill to bring to the table. This is what you
have started to see.

persistence
how to count
willingness
excitement
and all those other things you have listed.

We want to give her a new job and do more than thank her, We want to
USE the good skills. Remember, diet wants success passionately. Think
of how she has tried. She tried, and tried. Think how many books she
has read. Think of how many things she has explored on your behalf.

Bless her, be grateful for all she has done. Think of the time, the
money, the commitment she has asked for and you have so willingly
given. She is so persistent, and so loyal.

We want to empower her. We want to say, hey baby, have I got a plan
for you. Think of how she will respond when you say, hey baby, wanna
keepa your job? Have I got something for you to do…….

Be kind, get her excited, tell her chats are treats. Challenge her
with something interesting and tell her FINALLY success is coming.

What do you think of this idea? Does it make sense?

This is a wonderful start to our revised and updated Your Last Diet Program.

The program has grown and evolved over many years. It was good to start with and has evolved into THE premier option for weight loss. Not only do you balance your brain, heal your sugar addiction and lose weight, you also have fun and really, really enjoy the process.

I am really glad you are here.

I will be putting a preview of the topic we will be doing in chat the next meeting. So check here often :)
