I gotta talk more about this....

Recently I mentioned in an off hand way that "my mouth was hungry but my stomach wasn't."
It just came out, it's something I don't think I've ever been aware of.

I got two good replies to my comment but I want to ask all of you if you've experienced anything like this and what you think it means? I'm sure it means I'm more aware of my body but beyond that -- maybe I use chewing and gnawing on food to calm my nerves or take my mind off something?

It could have been celery, almonds, carrots, I wasn't thinking sugar. Is must be an emotional need.....?

Anybody have any ideas, I'd love to hear what you think.
