Hope you don't mind me weighing on how I cook my amaranth. I love it's chewy flavor and it's best warm or hot.

I simply boil water in a pot then add the amaranth and cook til it's a gooey sort of consistency. Maybe 20-30 minutes?

I think you can also add both water and amaranth at same time and cook it that way too. I think the ratio might be 3 cups water to 1 cup amaranth.

I don't measure the water but just keep boiling til it's just the way i like it.
