I would try eating something about an hour before exercising and see if that helps. It sounds like maybe your blood sugar might be crashing when you exercise and is making you crave fruit. When I am going to do a hard workout after work, I actually have a small meal, like a burger, brown rice and vegetables about an hour before. Then when I get home, I have a smaller dinner than I would usually. If I work out earlier in the day, like before work, I don't need as large a snack, and I have it after my workout.
